The Bluegrass Baby Expo+zine - a digital annual magazine - is an extension of the Bluegrass Baby Expo event which is a resource of information for new and growing families. This new edition is the all inclusive pregnancy through parenting magazine featuring articles, products, events and businesses who specialize in maternity, baby and preschool services. We also feature stories and submissions from contributing experts and parents like YOU from around the Bluegrass State! Please read and share this new resource and let us know if there is a topic of interest you would like more information on!
Birth Stories of the Bluegrass
Do you have a birth story you would like to share with others? The Bluegrass Baby Expo+Zine would be honored to share your experience and your birthing story with our readers.
When choosing birth stories to share, whether in the magazine or via social media, we ask that a few specific details be included. We first ask that the birth has taken place within the Bluegrass State of Kentucky. We would also like for you to share how you would prefer the parent(s) name(s) to be credited. Feel free to share your provider's name along with the birthing location and anyone who professionally supported you on your birth team (i.e. doula, nurse, photographer, etc.).
If sending photos, please send high quality .jpeg attachments in one email. If sending professional photos from a photographer, please include a written consent with a signature from your photographer stating Bluegrass Baby Expo+Zine has the right to publish and share their images.
Submissions are considered for both our digital publication and social media unless you state otherwise. Only a select few will be published in the magazine. If you would like to share your birth story via your personal blog, please let us know.
